Creating Connected Communities (CCC) provides life-enhancing programs for children experiencing hardship by empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers. CCC is committed to being an inclusive organization that represents our diverse community, and is dedicated to meeting the needs of families from all ethnic, social, religious, and economic backgrounds.
CCC supports thousands of children and families and creates hundreds of teen volunteer opportunities annually across Atlanta. While CCC’s Leadership Development Program and volunteer opportunities are only available for teens, there are other ways to get involved in our work at every age!

CCC offers opportunities for organizations and groups of all types interested in engaging in a service project. These group service projects help us provide valuable resources for the children who attend our programs throughout the year.
Projects may include:
After attending a program, we want participants to leave with more than a smile—so we make sure everyone leaves with a Smile Bag, packed by volunteers throughout our community. While the contents of our Smile Bags regularly change, each bag is filled with items such as personal care products (like a toothbrush/toothpaste), school supplies (like markers or pencils), a treat, and an educational toy.
IDEAS INCLUDE:
CCC supports the literacy development of the children and families who attend our community outreach programs by distributing free books at each of our programs.
IDEAS INCLUDE:
*CCC is unable to accept religion-based books.
Each year, CCC gives away thousands of gifts and toys at Amy’s Holiday Party. Children from 20+ social service agencies around Atlanta, including homeless shelters, transitional housing agencies, and Title-1 academic support programs, are given the opportunity to select multiple gifts to take home.
IDEAS INCLUDE:
*CCC is unable to accept life-size toy weapons or battery operated toys.
