For Teens Volunteers
Teen volunteers are needed to host this spectacular holiday party for over 750 area homeless, foster care and refugee children. It’s an afternoon filled with crafts, a carnival, a D.J., a “toy store”, food and drinks, cookie making, and, of course, a visit from the “big man” himself – Santa. Teen volunteers can earn community service hours for participating. If you are interested in being a day-of volunteer, please sign up for our newsletter.
Through Creating Connected Communities, we also provide year-round opportunities to get involved in your community. If you are interested in learning about these activities, please sign up for our newsletter.
We have been honored to receive funds from many young people in our community who have taken it upon themselves to plan and host fundraisers for Amy’s Holiday Party. These include Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project donations, lemonade stands for younger volunteers, babysitting contributions, and many more. If you are interested, please contact Amy at amy@amysholidayparty.org. We would be glad to support your efforts!
For Adult Volunteers
Are you interested in getting more involved in the planning of Amy’s Holiday Party? Adult volunteers are needed to serve on our planning committee specifically to secure in-kind and monetary donations for all of the activities provided at the event. If you are interested in serving on the committee or have a connection you think might be of benefit to us, please email director@amysholidayparty.org.
Adults volunteers are also needed the day of Amy’s Holiday Party to chaperone and oversee various aspects of the event, including carnival games, food and drink, bus transportation and so much more. If you are interested in being a day-of volunteer, please sign up for our newsletter.
